Mexico City’s Cuisine
It is possible to find a wide range of food across the city. There are several areas where small restaurants and cafes have proliferated, as in the case of the Colonia Condesa. In other parts of the city it is possible to find restaurants specialized in international and haute cuisine, representing the culinary traditions of countries as diverse as France, Italy, Portugal, Poland, Spain (including the regional cuisines of Castile, Asturias, Galicia and the Basque country), Thailand, Japan, Korea, China, Morocco, Lebanon, Peru, Argentina and Brazil. Certainly, there are also important establishments dedicated to Mexican cuisine from all regions of the country.
